A few weeks ago I got an email from Darren Rowse informing me that as a member of the “31 Days to a Better Blog” program that I could get a deal on joining the premium forum at Problogger.com
This is the best $2 you will spend this month. It’s a cup of coffee. And what will you get for a cup of coffee? Some excellent topics that get commented on by some of the leading bloggers out there. There are many (mostly) beginners and slow growers (like me) that want to know how to do it right. There are lots of successful bloggers there to answer your questions. No topic is taboo and everyone is treated fairly.
The community is already huge with more than 2000 members so rarely does a topic go unanswered.
I stronly urge you take advantage of this resource as it will be priceless.

No, I’m not an affiliate, just a fan.
Well, I got my answer:
“Thank you for applying to the eBay Partner Network. We regret to inform you that we cannot accept your application at this time.”
It seems I forgot to read the fine print.
I tried to gain access for a future venture. Little did I know that they wanted websites with a history. My bad and I fully understand. As Mark says in his 7 Tips page, “Your Site should Bring Value TO eBay, Not the other way around!” So this program is not a way to make money, though do, its a way to make eBay money. I’m ok with that. I will try again in a while, after I have driven enough traffic.
What is enough traffic?; you ask? If I remember right, after you fill in the form it gives you some information on what you should have for a website and they mention something like 10000 page views a day, or was that a month. (I hope the latter and not the former). If you know for sure, leave us a comment.
I should have read a few pages like:

I’ll be back.
I just discovered today that Ebay has an affiliate program and you can build websites around this.
I am a member of the Pro Blogger website community and in there I am getting SO much blogging for money information. I am pretty sure my head will explode. They have a subscription forum and in there I heard of someone mention BANS. BANS stands for Build a Niche Store.
The idea is to build a store online using listings from EBay and to not make it look like eBay! Tricky? not really, the listings still look a bit like EBay, and when you click on one it takes you to ebay, but the link contains your affiliate information so that when that user buys something, you get a commission from EBay.
There are other web shops like PHPbay.
I have yet to do an in-depth comparison of the two software packages, but so far it seems that BANS and PHPbay are the leaders in the industry. They both offer unlimited licenses, buy once, implement many. They also implement into WordPress, my blog of choice.
Oh, on the side you will see affiliates. Feel free to use one to make your purchase, or just to browse the information. Every little click helps. I will not be placing affiliate links of anyone I don’t research and approve of. If I haven’t seen it, it wont be there. IF you can recommend any other packages then drop me a line of leave a comment.
I’ve been doing alot of research on making my living through website optimization, internet marketing, blogging, online shops, affiliates and most, if not all the sites out there are telling you that you can make $$$,$$$ a year.
I’m not here to dispute that, I’m here to tell you that I have not. Yet.
I have not even made $100 a year. I’m also not here to tell you to NOT try it. My plan is simple. I’m taking it slow. I kind of have to since I have no income at this point so I can’t put any money into it.
My goal is to replace my old salary. Can it be done? Apparently it can so I plan to start small (can’t start much smaller than $0.00) and grow from there. This will be my Web Log to tell you all about it.
